How we work

We protect your property

Landscaping and neighboring property are covered with tarps and plywood sheeting before work begins.

Clean site, every day

All debris is removed at the end of each work day into a dumpster we supply.

We stand behind our work

Premium materials, installed right

Manufacturer-grade shingles, metal, and underlayment chosen for Texas heat and hail.

Common questions

How fast can you get to my roof after a storm?

We prioritize urgent storm damage and can usually provide an inspection and emergency service within 24 to 48 hours after a storm.

Do you help with insurance claims?

Yes. We document the damage, meet your adjuster on site, and guide you through the claims process so your repairs or replacement are covered whenever possible.

How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?

Our comprehensive 50-point and drone inspection covers everything from decking to flashing to gutters, documented with photos, and gives you an honest recommendation based on damage, age, and safety, with no pressure either way.

What roofing materials do you work with?

We use the highest quality architectural roofing shingles available, including Class 3 and Class 4 hail and wind resistant shingles; metal roofs, with a specialty in standing seam metal; and TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen flat roofing systems. Our installers are manufacturer-certified by GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, IKO, and Atlas for shingle systems, and by Versico for TPO and membrane systems.

What does your 10-year workmanship warranty cover?

It covers the work we completed: the installation itself, for ten years. If a problem traces back to our workmanship, we fix it at no cost to you, normally within 48 hours. That is separate from the manufacturer's warranty on the materials, which we also register with the manufacturer on your behalf so it is in force from day one. Repairs are guaranteed leak-free for 2 years.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes. Hermes Roofing is insured and bonded, and we're happy to provide current certificates with your estimate.

Are you local to Austin?

Yes. We are family-owned, based in East Austin, and have served Central Texas since 2009. We don't chase storms; living here, we catch every one of them anyway.
